### Choosing Your Provider If you are stationed at an overseas installation, you will likely give birth at a **Military Treatment Facility (MTF)**. However, if an MTF is unavailable or if you are enrolled in TRICARE Prime Remote Overseas, you will use a civilian provider.

* **TRICARE Prime Overseas / Prime Remote:** You must have a referral for civilian maternity care.
