As of January 1, 2025, the regional contractor for the West is **TriWest Healthcare Alliance**, which replaced Health Net Federal Services (HNFS). **Does Colorado Medicaid (Health First Colorado) work with TRICARE?** Yes. If you are eligible for both, TRICARE is the primary payer and Medicaid is the payer of last resort. Inform your providers that you carry both coverages to ensure proper billing.
